Blogging For Money

There’s a lot of buzz these days about blogging for money. In reality, it’s harder to make money this way than many might lead you to think. Nevertheless, if approached right, blogging can turn a very lucrative exercise.

For help visit: www.bloggers-guide-to-profit.com Let’s talk about a few easy, applicable steps you are able to take toward making an online blogging presence that will bring in income for you.

Most importantly, a personal little blog isn’t going to do it. Many people think they can blog about their every day lives and attain income. I hate to break your bubble, but your life is not that fascinating. Do not take offense ‘ nobody’s life is that fascinating! If you would like to attract traffic, you’re going to need to provide a topic or topics that interest people, and in some cases respond to inquiries that people make. For example, an Internet Marketing blog may feature totally general IM posts, or may haps divided up into sections for PPC posts, article marketing posts, affiliate marketing posts, and product creation posts. Such a blog provides subjects more people are interested in, several subsections of that topic that people desire additional information about, and the posts may give important tips, advice, or share knowledge that could assist other people.

After starting a blog centered on and around your niche, add a little Adsense around it. Try to keep your Adsense in places that experience the most focus – the top of your blog (specifically top left if you can), between paragraphs in the text, or at the bottom right after the text stops, as for people who are seeking further information after reading your post. These positions appear to do well. Nevertheless, making money with an Adsense-only blog may be very difficult. There’s one additional thing you should do to make your blog more profitable.

Once you’ve established yourself a bit and established some rapport with your readers, you want to start adding affiliate products into your posts. Do not overdo this or you’ll run your readership away! Nevertheless, in a post identifying a peculiar problem, you could post a link to a product that resolves that problem.

For more details go to: www.feed-reader-links.com that link would constitute your affiliate link, and whatever sales subsequent from your blog post’s link would pay commissions to you. You could place one or two graphical or text affiliate links to useful, relational products in the sidebar or sidebars of your blog. Make certain you do not make it hard to explore your blog for all the ads and affiliate links. You need your users to feel that you are blogging for them first and foremost, and your affiliate links are just helpful suggestions you’re providing.

Through establishing yourself in a niche, providing valuable information to your readers and mixing your blog with tastefully-positioned ads and affiliate links, you’ll begin to see an income coming from your blog. Congratulations, you’ve succeeded! Now keep on tweaking and testing what works and what does not, and then you will be able to continue to make your blog increasingly profitable for yourself, while increasingly becoming more appealing to your target audience.

Blogging For Money

1. Employ Your Blog to Promote Affiliate Products: This is what a lot of the guru’s do to make a lot of cash by using a simple blog to do reviews on different products that they market. You will want to have a different blog for each service that you are promoting. This practice is called “Pre Selling” or a “Pre Sell” page. A potential customer will always be more inclined to purchase when reading a review of something they are considering purchasing rather than just being pushed onto the main sales page. Make sure to include your affiliate link in your blog and put in a call to action at the end of your review. This is a nice word of mouth soft pre sell and this practice works well.

2. Use Affiliate Banners on Your Blog: Most products that you chose to market have an affiliates page where you can grab the code for different banners and put them on you blog. This is a great method to use as it makes your blog look more influential and larger than life giving the look that you have companies buying advertising space on your blog. Make sure the banners you use on there are of the same or similar niche that the blog is about so that you don’t confuse your visitor as to what they are looking for. To do this you need to have your own hosting for your and total control over your blog page as you cant place these ads on the free blog hosting sites.

3. Use AdSense Ads On Your Blog:  Google AdSense provides you with a number of ad type options – image or text based to place on your blog that once clicked on by visitors can generate income for you. Implementing AdSense is very easy. You specify your preferences and just copy and paste into your page source code where you would like the ad to appear. You can use the same code on any of your websites. Once implemented DON’T click on these AdSense ads yourself as this constitutes click fraud and google will penalize you for that. You can’t game the system they WILL find out so do this the proper way and it will payoff.

4. Start 2 to 5 Blogs a Day: Find 2 to 5 different products every day that you want to market and stick to steps 1 and 2 to monetize the platform. If you do this you will have 60 to 150 plus blogs working for you by the end of the month and it costs you nothing but your time or the cost of a domain name and hosting for a year.

Remember blogging for money is a business and content alone will not generate money for you. You must do added research ( just google building blog traffic or something similar) to become skilled at how to generate traffic to your blog as traffic, traffic, traffic means mo’ money in online marketing. A blog with no traffic, if your looking to earn money, is just that…a Blahg.

Blogging For Money

Choosing how to monetize your blog is a huge decision! There are many different options and it can be difficult to judge which type your readers will respond to most. Take a look at these different options, and make your choice with your readers and the market overall in mind.

Option 1: Adsense

Adsense is probably the easiest way to monetize — and the most difficult! It’s easy because it’s just a simple code that Google gives you (they even automatically match up the ads for you!). You make money as soon as someone clicks on your ads, whether they actually go on to make a purchase or not. Adsense can also be incredibly difficult. You usually get paid a few cents per click and it can take a lot of traffic for it to add up to something that is even remotely worth your while.

Adsense might be a good thing to test, especially as you’re getting your feet wet with blogging. If you’re in the right market and find the right ad positions and colors, it can certainly turn into a nice hands-off income for you.

Option 2: Affiliate Products

Selling products as an affiliate is a great way to make money. For one thing, you get to earn money from the products without having to fulfill them yourself or deal with customer service issues. Nothing is better than that! The returns are usually higher than with Adsense, provided you’re able to find an offer that converts well with the people who visit your website.

You will have to decide if you want to promote digital or physical products. This decision will likely come down to what kind of niche you’re in and how your site visitors will respond.

Option 3: Creating Your Own Products

After you get a loyal following of readers it’s easier than ever to create and sell your own information product! You’ll have to fulfill the orders and deal with customer service issues, but the tradeoff is that you get to keep all the money! You are also the one who knows your readers best, so you’re likely to come up with an offer that converts extremely well since it’s exactly what they want.

You can write an ebook, create a membership site, deliver a paid e-course, create a video series, or record audio. If you want to make the package even better you can combine a few different approaches to add massive value. The options are endless when it comes to monetizing with your own products. Some of your blog readers might eventually want to become an affiliate of yours as well!

As you look at these different options you might start to feel overwhelmed. That’s perfectly normal! It’s hard to know what the best path is when you’re just starting out with a new niche. A good way to get a feel for the best way to do things is to see what other blogs and sites in your niche are doing. You’re not trying to copy them, you’re simply taking note of what works and using it yourself.

Blogging For Money

1) Using 1 blog and setting yourself up as an expert, an opinion former or leader in a particular area of expertise.

2) Creating multiple blogs in micro niches and simply ramping up your activities across a range of markets.

1) Opinion Former/leader/expert

To pursue this strategy you need to be an expert in some area of activity..or at least become one. To do this you will devote all your resources of time, energy and creativity in one area.

You will attempt to drive sufficient traffic to your blog because of your obvious expertise and your ability to provide useful content and information to your visitors.

You will seek to build a loyal following and to do this you will need to demonstrate expertise and credibility.

2) Multiple Blogs in Micro Niches

This strategy is the polar opposite in that you simply follow the crowd in a particular area, and plop yourself down in front of them and sell them affiliate products, advertising and so on.

This method does not require huge expertise or credibility..you are simply following the crowd and the money and hoping that if you can devise a method by which to make relatively small money you simply repeat the process on a larger scale.

You are spreading your efforts across a greater number of areas, not looking for a huge return, but because of the sheer scale of building out your blogs you will still show a decent return.

And you are spreading your risk..with the option of ramping up a particularly good niche if it outperforms others.

Blogging For Money

As an Internet Marketer I have had many people ask me if blogging can make money. My answer to them is….. Yes it sure can. I personally have several blogs and I have also helped my children to start a blog each.

My oldest son started his blog first as a way to earn some extra pocket money. He made his first affiliate sale within two days and was rather impressed with himself. My other children were rather impressed also and it was at that point that they too decided that they wanted to get in on the action.

I just asked my son to choose a topic that he was interested in. He told me his interest of choice and then we went to work to see if we could find some affiliate products relating to that topic. You can find affiliate products for almost anything so we had no trouble at all finding some.

Next we bought him a domain name and set up a Wordpress blog on it with a theme that he picked to relate to his topic.

I have to help the kids out a bit but they do quite well writing their blog posts and keeping it updated. Each time that they make a sale it keeps them motivated to keep going.

Now that my kids are doing so well with their blogs that whenever someone asks me if you can make money blogging I just tell them about my kids, because if a ten year old boy can do it then you can too.

So, can blogging make money? Yes it can. I’m sure you could easily think of a hobby that you will be able to blog about. So start blogging and start earning!

Can a blog earn money?

There is a logical explanation for a greater failure rate online and it is simply that it is easier and cheaper to set up a blog and a business online than offline. So the failure rate is understandable but can you earn money with a blog?

You can if you sit down a think out your particular strategy or system and stick to it. So whether it is selling affiliate products, electronic products, physical products, AdSense or membership sites you need to decide on your business model. And stick to it.

Because it is so easy to sit in front of your computer and jump from one site to another and from one money making system to another..with the result that your business model is abandoned and you join the 80/90% of start ups who fail.

Like an offline business you need to decide on your business model and execute it..without distraction. And if the task that you are doing at any point in time does not fit into your business model, leave it. Walk away. Because you must stick with discipline to your business model.

You can earn money with a blog and you can occupy the small sector who do succeed with their blog..but you must plan and get your strategy and policy right from day one and avoid distractions.
